Biology impinges upon all of us, whether in the news or through an understanding of how our own bodies work. Therefore we consider it vital for every student to gain a solid biological background in order to make better informed judgments, which are relevant to their own health, but also the world today. We also aim to inspire an appreciation of the beauty and savagery of the natural world.
