"If geography itself has any significance it is that we are made to lift our eyes from our small provincial selves to the whole complex and magnificent world."
Richard Burton 1821 – 1890

I have really enjoyed studying Geography at Hautlieu. I specifically have enjoyed the physical aspect of the subject such as the topics on rivers and coasts and undertaking fieldwork both here and on the mainland.

You know where you are with Geography, not in a navigation way of things but in the ability to see and understand the big picture. Why things happen in the places that they do and what will happen as a result underpins much of what Geography is about. Students who study Geography are clearly going places.
